Key takeaways

  • Match the room to the job. Vendor flagships are best for roadmaps; independent enterprise events are best for peers and buying decisions.
  • Plan around three anchors. Most leaders pick one platform event, one independent trade show and one executive-only room a year.
  • New York and Atlanta anchor the independent calendar. The AI Enterprise Conference (Aug 31, NYC) and COLLIDE (Oct 13, Atlanta) focus on enterprise practitioners and buyers.
  • Executives get their own track. ALIGN AI Executive Summits run in 8 U.S. cities for Director+ leaders.

Enterprise AI has moved from experiments to budgets, and the conference calendar has followed. For data and AI leaders, the question in 2027 is no longer whether to attend AI events but which ones earn the time away. This guide ranks ten conferences by what they do best for enterprise teams, in calendar order.

How did we choose these AI conferences?

We looked for events where enterprise data and AI leaders, not only developers or investors, make up a meaningful share of the audience, and where attendees leave with decisions rather than just inspiration. Vendor flagships made the list when their platforms sit at the center of many enterprise AI stacks. Independent events made it when they put practitioners and buyers in the same room.

1. NVIDIA GTC (March, San Jose)

NVIDIA's annual conference is where the AI infrastructure roadmap gets set. According to NVIDIA's FAQ, GTC 2027 takes place at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center and venues across San Jose in mid-March, with in-person and virtual options. It is the right room for platform and infrastructure leaders planning compute.

2. Gartner Data & Analytics Summit (March, Orlando)

Gartner's flagship event for chief data and analytics officers is typically held in early March in Orlando. Expect analyst-led sessions on data strategy, governance and operating models, which makes it useful for leaders building a business case.

3. ALIGN AI Executive Summits (April to November, 8 U.S. cities)

The ALIGN AI Executive Summits are invitation-only gatherings for Director+ data and AI leaders, with about 125 attendees per summit. The 2027 series starts in Atlanta on April 28 and continues to New York City, Dallas, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, Washington, DC and Los Angeles. The format favors keynotes from enterprise practitioners, small-group roundtables and one-to-one meetings over large expo halls.

4. Google Cloud Next (April 13–15, Las Vegas)

Google says Next 2027 runs April 13–15 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Teams standardizing on Google Cloud, Gemini models or BigQuery will find the roadmap sessions essential.

5. Snowflake Summit (June 7–10, San Francisco)

Snowflake has published June 7–10, 2027 at Moscone Center for its next Summit, with more than 500 sessions, labs and certifications. It is a priority for data platform owners and analytics leaders on the AI Data Cloud.

6. Databricks Data + AI Summit (June 21–24, San Francisco)

Two weeks later, Databricks returns to San Francisco for Data + AI Summit, June 21–24, 2027, in person and online. Lakehouse, governance and agent-building sessions draw data engineering and ML leaders.

7. Ai4 (August, Las Vegas)

Ai4 is held each August at The Venetian in Las Vegas and covers applied AI across industries such as financial services, healthcare and retail. It is broad, which makes it a good scan of use cases.

8. The AI Enterprise Conference (August 31, New York City)

The AI Enterprise Conference brings 2,000+ enterprise data and AI leaders to Pier Sixty in Chelsea on Tuesday, August 31, 2027. The program is built around enterprise practitioners: how Fortune 500 teams move from pilots to production, govern agents and measure ROI. Passes are $999, with Early Bird pricing coming soon.

9. COLLIDE AI Conference (October 13, Atlanta)

COLLIDE is the largest AI conference in the Southern U.S., with 1,000+ enterprise data and AI leaders at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, October 13, 2027. It is the regional anchor for teams across the Southeast.

10. AWS re:Invent (late November/early December, Las Vegas)

AWS's annual conference closes the year in Las Vegas, typically the week after Thanksgiving. The 2026 edition runs November 30 to December 4. It is the year's biggest single source of cloud and AI service announcements.

How should enterprise teams plan their 2027 AI event budget?

Most data and AI leaders get the most from three kinds of rooms: one platform event tied to their core stack, one independent trade show where they can compare vendors and hear peers, and one executive-only setting for candid conversations. The AI Enterprise Conference in New York and COLLIDE in Atlanta cover the second; the invitation-only ALIGN AI Executive Summits and AI Enterprise Executive Dinners cover the third. AI Connect | Data Science Connect also runs free webinars throughout the year for teams that can't travel.
